Ottawa Folk Festival

The Ottawa Folk Festival is a non-profit, volunteer-based community organization formed in 1994. It celebrates the creativity of musicians, dancers, artisans and storytellers through a summer festival at Britannia Park in Ottawa and a series of year-round concerts at venues throughout the city.

The festival’s mandate is to provide a space for creativity, imagination and exploration. It strives to enhance the cultural life and contribute to the economic activity of the local community, the city, and the region; and encourage a sense of community in all who participate.

The Ottawa Folk Festival takes place in August each year.
