Regina Folk Festival
The Regina Folk Festival was first held way back in 1969. Organized by a few individuals, the enthusiasm and support shown for this first event led to the creation of the Regina Guild of Folk Arts (RGFA) Since that time, the RGFA has continued to present the annual festival plus year-round music performances.
After many years indoors, the festival was moved outdoors in 1985 to beautiful, historic Victoria Park in the heart of downtown Regina.
The Regina Folk Festival has, through its consistent delivery of quality musical entertainment, grown into a professional volunteer-run organization recognized for its contribution to local arts and culture. As a forty-year-old organization, the festival is one of Canada’s most established music organizations and is proud to present Western Canada’s longest running music festival.
